The Baseboard Buddy is too big to do the tiny little corners of my hall so I did have to get down to clean those but other then that, my back and knees didn’t ache at all when I was done. To clean the pad, I just rinsed it off in the sink and let it dry. I’m sure you could throw it in the washer too. Overall, I really like The Baseboard Buddy. It did what it said it should do and got my house much cleaner.
