  • Step 1 is to insert the tube fitting with the tubing. Make sure the nut is finger tight and that the tubing is securely resting on the fitting body's shoulder.
  • Step 2: Mark the fitting's nut at the six o'clock position.
  • Step 3: Tighten the nut one-and-a-quarter turn while holding the fitting body steady.

Never let go of a fitting nut to bleed system pressure.
When the system is under pressure, never install or tighten fittings.
