feels like something from a greater budget mobile game

I tried to get into it a while back and honestly a good deal about the engine, UI, and artstyle bothered me along with the MTX. RS3 has an FoV that you can not scale which make it seem as if your looking through a lens all of the time. I would definitely turn it down if there was an alternative to do so. There is no option. Guild wars 2 is an example of a game which started with no choice and low FoV to alter it. Thankfully they ended up adding the option later on and I expect RS3 follows suit. The UI is honestly a wreck. It but even knowing how to use it, you will find a lot of choices which should just be either grouped together, or transferred. On top of that most of the presets clutter the display like older WoW overlays and it is fairly ugly looking.

I am playing 1440p and it's too little, I can only imagine what playing at 4k is like. People recommended changing my windows resolution to 1080p and that I was left to wonder exactly what year it was because that is disgusting and will make RuneScape game overall look worse. The final issue is a personal criticism, but I truly dislike the artstyle swap which came right before RS3. I'm not a hardcore OSRS graphic defender either like I played primarily mostly when RSHD first started and actually really enjoyed that engine and some of the new styles that came along with it. Plenty of the graphics and armor stylings in RS3 seem to mesh together at a manner that feels like something from a greater budget mobile game.

To also keep in with graphic designs I haven't even mentioned everybody utilizing cash store skins that are all completely out of place and uninspired. I played other MMOs who had an eye on MTX cash shop outfits (primarily guild wars 2) and at least of those outfits actually looked like they belonged in RuneScape match in some way shape or form. RS3 proceeded ignored it and then changed its design philosophy. These are all small problems, but it just made me quit playing, if they stack together with eachother. There was too much immunity as it came to figuring out that shows a degree of unprofessionalism in regards to design and how to do things.

This also isn't to shit on RS3. There's a good deal of QoL changes I found to be quite nice such as the toolbelt, currency pouch, and also the complete required rework to mining and smithing (that's honestly necessary in OSRS) just as a few examples. I simply wouldn't state that the MTX is the only bad thing about RS3, once I believe it's motor, graphic and UI issues and (in my opinion just for this one) an uninspired art fashion where the MTX outfits don't even match that design philosophy.
