OSHA has a mission of safeguarding working people and the environment by helping to prevent workplace injuries. OSHA also helps protect the public from workplace hazards by educating workers and employers on how to reduce injuries.

OSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. It is the United States government’s principal agency for workplace safety and health.

OSHA 10, which also included the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, was meant to reduce deaths and illnesses in the workplace but has had mixed results. It sets standards for workplace safety and provides penalties for employers who fail to comply.

OSHA 10 is the safety code that is used to design workplace safety rules for industry sectors. It covers 29 rules and regulations and is often used in conjunction with other standards, such as the OSHA compliance guide, the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines, and more.

OSHA 10 was developed by the U.S. Department of Labor to protect workers from accidents, injuries, and illnesses. OSHA 10 has its roots in a regulation introduced in the 1930s to prevent accidents in the workplace and has since evolved into a standard that has become the standard for worker safety in the United States.
