Funny I have the opposite reaction. I gradually strolled out 70s and realized my previous mill was tame. Then got 80s and felt that the 70 grind was tame. I have 81/84/79 89 don't even remember the grinds and range 70 prayer and 80 mage. For me the grind that is current feels just like the preceding one. I am already half way to 91 and just got 90 farming. Some skills I do hate. Fletching is my Tears of Guthix go to RC, and that I train it. I also hate thieving. RC is bad and agility is ok, getting near 70 inside.
I think this is ordinary man. I mean that I get a little sense of accomplishment and I really like it, but nothing AMAZING like life accomplishments, it's a video game after all! If you are expecting some large feeling of achievement I believe that you'll always be disappointed, or Runescape is creeping up and possibly becoming too large a part of your life (I've been there when I was younger during rs2). I think that the thing that can get dangerous is that people begin to get the majority of their feeling of accomplishment through RuneScape sport, and unlike real life, If you put the time in you WILL reach your target no matter what. However, as you've noticed, it does not mean anything and it isn't satisfying like real life.
The quests try to be diverse and fascinating in their style. Obviously, if you consult with RuneScape gold a pursuit guide to prep all the materials ahead, do not read any of the dialogue, and attempt to blitz them as fast as you can, you're going to feel like an errand boy. Because you have stripped out the parts of the quests that are not errands. And, why I (and probably others) continue playing is because there's so many different things to do. I keep a checklist eliminating things and always adding onto. When I get sick of doing a single job, I could do among the half a dozen other things I had lined up anyhow.
