'Ahead of the Man Utd game' Postecoglou declares

Tottenham head coach Enze Postecoglou talks about winning the title.

Tottenham will host Manchester United in the 21st round of the 2023-24 English Premier League (EPL) at Old Trafford in Manchester, England, on Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Spurs have made waves early in the season, going unbeaten in their first 10 league games. Postecoglou has added dynamism to the Spurs team by implementing an attacking tactic, unlike previous managers who have played a more defensive style.

Led by captain Son Heung-min, the new additions of James Maddison, Mickey van der Vaan, and Guglielmo Vicario quickly settled in and put on a tremendous performance.

There was a crisis in the middle. A series of injuries to key players like Madison and van der Vaan led to a three-game losing streak. Recently, though, they've been picking up their game and racking up the points.

Ahead of the crucial month of January, there are concerns. Son Heung-min will leave the team for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup in Qatar. Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr are also out for the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast and Senegal, respectively. The team is missing three key players.

Tottenham have been busy in the winter transfer window to address this. First, they bolstered their attack with the signing of Timo Werner, then they added central defense with Radja Nainggolan. The new signings need to settle in quickly.

Postecoglou spoke at the press conference ahead of the game against United about his goal of 'winning'. Spurs are currently fifth in the table with 39 points (12 wins, three draws, and six losses). They are six points adrift of first-place Liverpool (45 points) and just one point behind Arsenal (40 points).

Postecoglou added: "We shouldn't discount Tottenham's chances of winning the title. We had a difficult period, but we overcame it and are back to normal. We are very successful. We are still in a position where we 카지노사이트 can compete for the top places."

"We need to harass and exploit our opponents in our own way. We have to play other teams without fear. We need to play good soccer and I'm very happy that it's still early days. The club and I are taking a leap forward together," he concluded.
