Willow Johnson (Heungkuk Life Insurance), the daughter of major league legend Randy Johnson, took her father's advice and resolved to do her best in the V-League.

Willow, who joined Heungkuk Life Insurance as a replacement for Jelena Mrazenovic on the 21st, attracted attention as the daughter of legendary left-hander Randy Johnson of the big league.
Randy Johnson is a pitcher who won the Cy Young Award, given to the best MLB pitcher, five times and was selected as an All-Star 10 times. He was also inducted into the Major League Hall of Fame.
Willow said, “My dad advised me to ‘always take good care of my body and bring out my best performance every day,’” and “I was happy when I came to Korea. He said his dad told him, ‘Go and do your best and make the most of the opportunities that come your way.’”
There is also interest in whether Randy Johnson will be able to visit Korea to see Willow.
“My dad recently had knee surgery and is still recovering,” he said. “I wish you could come see me.” “If he comes to Korea, he will probably come around the end of the season.”
