Bhagya Suktam is a sacred hymn found in Yajur Veda, an ancient book of wisdom. This sacred hymn was composed in praise of the archetype Bhaga, an aspect of Surya (Sun God). ‘Bhagya’ refers to auspiciousness and good fortune and the blessings of Bhaga can help bring financial stability and bestow success, luck, prosperity, and abundance in life. This ancient Suktam is recited in temples when the doors are opened for the day in the morning. Some Vedic priests also recite this Suktam first thing in the morning to usher in prosperity and abundance in their houses.

In Sanskrit, the term Bhagya means fortune, prosperity, or wealth. Archetype Bhaga is a Vedic God who has the power to grant luck, wealth, and fortune. Without good luck and fortune, one is bound to lead a difficult life. Even when one is God-fearing, hard-working, and virtuous, he/she may face many problems and difficulties in life due to various factors, including adverse planetary influences in the birth chart. Those who want to witness a positive change in their lives can chant the Bhagya Suktam. When chanted regularly, It is believed to bestow many benefits. They include victory in competitions and also over enmity. Reciting Bhagya Suktam on a regular basis is believed to boost good luck and help generate wealth. It is also believed to bring in favorable job opportunities.

It is an ancient tradition to invoke archetype Bhaga in a Homa or sacred Fire Lab to welcome all Bhagya into your life. As Bhagya means fortune/prosperity/wealth, it is believed that invoking archetype Bhaga in a sacred homa with adept Vedic priests chanting the Bhagya Suktam can bestow happiness and success in all your endeavors. Bhagya Sukta Homa is performed to rejuvenate your aura with positive vibrations at home and office. It is believed that by Invoking Bhaga in the sacred Agni (fire) amidst the Divine chants of the Bhagya Suktam from the Yajur Veda, one is blessed with success, good luck, and fortune in all the efforts.
