Most only purchase that sngle match Madden or 2k, the time investment to do everything like badge grinding can take all your time but I think it's easier now for to 99 and they want you to make multiple builds now. I play with the Mut 21 coins thing mostly every year I just dont get it at release because of the sideshow it's and it drops cost fast. Or perhaps the people that's complaining on the world wide web doesn't have anything to do with the people that is usually buying games like Madden, NBA 2K and other games like this. Despite the whining people do this, these matches are nearly always very good. They constantly have like 7different game modes and ways to play. You may stay away from all micro transactions incredibly easily.

Many players don't realize the quantity of console sales which take place is rather high just for the specific purpose to play one or two annualized franchises. For the individual who buys two games annually for example Madden and NBA2K every year, $60x2 for the hours and hours of time put into these games, the value is super high. The populace of men and women who fall within that category are not on r/Games complaining about microtransactions and shit like that. They most likely don't even possess a reddit account. It's not a knock on them, it is just the way things are.

I watched a meeting for one of the earlier call of duty annualized games (like contemporary warfare 3 or so), and also the developers basically said that ordinary players (those ones who play halo, killzone, battlefield, other shooters) do not purchase call of duty games. The majority of folks who perform call of duty will only purchase Cod along with a sports game. And they'll do so religiously every year. I've heard this subset known as Brogamers--kind of the antithesis to people that only play with The Sims/Animal Crossing but in the end it is a similar spending pattern. Entirely agree with you and that interview from back in the day (individual time is flying by). Bro have you played a Madden game recently? They are fucking terrible! Same engine as they used on PS3, yet the match has less features and more bugs than it did 15 years ago. It is objectively a terribly created game.

The madden criticism which surfaced has nothing to do with your remark. Its an increasing group of individuals that wish to play a fantastic football match, but Ea keeps selling them the same game without updating the motor. This group wants the nfl to give out several cases of likeness rights or sell them exclusively to a different company that would hopefully create a better game. Not surprising. That is the reason why EA doesn't have to bother ever improving anything in the majority of their modes or repairing any bugs which have been there for years. People will buy it regardless and whales will dump tons of money into MUT. 2k has similar problems and the microtransaction stuff is gross but in the very least which has good gameplay and top tier demonstration and they still add a little more effort. Sports game just have a completely different demographics to games such as Witcher 3 and CIV.

If anything that shows you why they published a broken product. The people who buy do not read/care exactly what the web thinks. Disappointed in the sports community but frankly. . .where else could they go if this is their sole alternative? The majority of the sports game fan do not read reviews before they buy. A good deal of them literally just play that sport for the entire calendar year. It's the cheap Madden 21 coins same for FIFA. Lots use their playstation as basically a FIFA machine. Imagine if Fromsoftware created a half-baked Souls match. The lovers would still purchase it since it's still a Souls match. Makes sense if you consider it that way. I mean, I just played New Super Mario Bros 2. It is like three hours and nothing about it's distinctive from all the other New Super Mario Bros. games. Yet, I purchased it, and therefore didn't countless other players.
