Which security system is right for home security?

Before I answer this question in a fair way, I think there is a need to know more about this important subject. The scope of this discussion will not be limited to the solutions that Indians use to keep their homes safe, but I would also like to discuss the solutions used in the rest of the world.
I personally believe that we Indians make a lot of efforts to preserve our home and precious items, like thick walls with more iron and crunkets to strengthen the house, a strong iron grill outside the glass windows. And additional iron doors outside the doors.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the houses of India are probably stronger than the houses of the rest of the world. However the Choros, robbers and opportunists do not mind it. We continue to read such news in newspapers every day.

Why is it that we Indians are not able to go on long leave without any worry. Then the question arises that can technology help us on this subject? CCTV - Available almost everywhere, but is it helpful in domestic security? We hear so many new words like home automation, home security, IoT, smart home, but what is really right for us?

I think that if I write about all the questions, then I have to write a whole book. So, for the information about the security of the house, I am giving some links below this question, please take a look at them as well.

CCTV Camera - Cheapest, Most Common. You can see it on every street. Great for big shops, department stores and public places. Where monitoring is required. And because of these, the public behaves in a civilized manner. (Not thieves and robbers)

CCTV makes a psychological impact. For example, the possibility of someone urinating on the garden wall or stealing a light bulb increases if they know that there is no one here to see me. That is why many people also put a dummy camera in such places due to this psychology. But there are many reasons why its houses are not effective in security.
1) Thieves do not care to record their face, because they have no social reputation.
2) They can cover their mouths and enter the house.
3) The power supply of the camera can be cut off, because CCTV does not have a battery.
4) Or the thieves can take your DVR along with the stolen goods.

So in short CCTV cameras are useful for big shops, malls, parking areas etc. But if the security of the house is thought about, it is not so useful.
IP Camera - The next most common device. Very useful, you can look in or out of your house from anywhere using your mobile phone. Video quality is very good compared to CCTV. And wiring is not required. You can buy it from Amazon or Flipkart. And you can install it yourself. This is a very useful device for those who are elderly at home, or have small children who need constant attention or you also want to make sure that your maid is doing her job properly while you are out of your house.

But when selecting IP camera you need to be a little mindful, because - Google Nest camera which costs 300 USD (ie 22000 / - in Indian rupees for one camera price), Ring (which is Amazon's company One) of each camera comes at the same price. And other Chinese products that come with some extra features, they are sold for Rs 2000-3000 in Amazon and Flipkart, with hundreds of good reviews! (Usually these cameras come with mobile apps like Yoosee, IPC360, Smart_Life, 360eye, TooSee or some weird names)

So why does Ring, Google or a good Western brand cost so much? Is it because they look better? Or is build quality better? Or brand value? Or because of features like Alexa or Eco Integration?

The answer is - this is because these companies ensure privacy. You are convinced that no one is watching your camera except you. These companies never place any video on their servers.

So I suggest that if you need a camera where privacy does not matter to you, then you can buy such cameras with good reviews from Amazon or Flipkart. They will run for some time and after that they will stop working or they will cause problems in many ways.

But if you want to buy a camera to use indoors, then try to know about the post-purchase service, peace of mind, privacy and its long life. Ring, Google, Nest, Hipcam etc. are some such options. These will be a bit expensive but peace of mind, long life and will also give a good experience.

(Smart Doorbell or Video Doorbell) - Another good product. Some time ago, the doorbell was a device in which a unit would look outward and a display unit indoors, so that you could see who was standing outside the house with the help of video displays.

However, now with the introduction of Internet in every house, the way doorbell works has also changed. Now Doorbell comes with some amazing capabilities and features. You can see and talk to your visitors (visitors) from anywhere using your mobile phone. By using the motion sensor feature, you can also get the information of Motion alerts on your mobile phone. Battery backup is another good feature that makes it work even when there is a power cut. Because power cut is a common problem in India.

If you have a small family or you don't live around forever, or if you have young children alone at home and can open the door to a stranger, then this is really very useful in this situation.

You can buy five-six thousand doorbells from Amazon Flipkart or anywhere, but again be careful what you are buying. The experience with these cheap doorbells has been poor, sometimes notifications come, sometimes they don't. Or if it comes too late. Their integration with Android, iOS, software upgrades, etc. does not happen easily and even if they do, their experiences deteriorate over time. So if you are looking for a reliable, long-lasting and intuitive experience, then there are some names that can go with companies like Google, Nest, Ring, Hipcam.
Alarm System - Alarm systems are not as popular as other products. But these are becoming popular and more and more people are choosing alarm systems to protect their home.

An alarm system is a combination of different types of sensors. For example door or window sensor, which detects the opening of a door or window. These sensors are installed on the main doors / windows of the houses. Motion sensors detect any type of motion, usually motion sensors are installed in common areas of the house, such as the living room or drawing room.

These sensors are very small. All these sensors are wirelessly connected to a central device called a control panel or control hub. The hub is the core of any alarm system. Some control hubs also have inbuilt sirens, but still require an additional (additional) outdoor siren, which plays in a much louder sound. Which increases the chances of the thief running away.

The entire system is operated with a remote key that resembles the remote key of a car. Most alarm systems support mobile apps, so that you can activate and deactivate from anywhere using the mobile app. Normally activates the alarm system when going out of the house and when coming back home, the alarm system is deactivated before opening the door.

Once again, a lot of Made-in-China systems in the range of ten to fifteen thousand are found on Amgen etc. But when it comes to quality and trust, there are many companies such as Vizonig, Aldous, Bold, AJAX, DFS etc., which are a little expensive but reliable.

Whereas alarm systems of good hardware quality ensure that the system runs for a long time and maintains its reliability. This is possible only through professional monitoring. It is professional monitoring that makes a real difference. But unfortunately it is still not widely available in India. And most people do not know about it. There are many companies in the western countries that provide such systems and services such as ADT, FRONT POINT, SimliSafe, Vivint Smart Home, Protect America, DFS.
