Top Tips for better care safety & health

To enjoy better care, safety and health some simple guidelines such as regularly brushing teeth, washing hands using hand sanitiser and keeping our bodies clean allows us to take better care of our family’s safety and health.
Other top tips for better personal care safety and health:
• Sleep
One of the most important things for a healthy mind and body is getting adequate sleep. Sleep allows your body regenerate and repair its self and your mind can rearrange your thought processes. The old saying let me sleep on it is actually a good idea for sorting pressing problems or decisions
• Exercise
Exercise and proper stretching is important to maintain a healthy body, the older you get, the more important regular suitable exercise becomes as if you don’t use it, you’ll start to lose it, applies to muscle groups you do not exercise regularly
• Personal hygiene
Apart from washing regularly, wearing clean clothes is important and changing your underwear at least daily is recommended. I warm weather you should only wear clothing and underwear that allows your body to breathe to avoid the buildup of harmful yeasts and fungi. Always have a good wash and a change of clothes after a workout or doing heavy work
• Makeup and brushes
These personal items should be cleaned on a regular basis and not shared with others as they can build-up bacteria and germs if not cleaned often. You should never wear your make up to bed as removing it gives your skin a chance to breathe
• Nails
Toe and finger nails should be trimmed at least weekly and if you eat a lot of fruit you may need to trim them more often. Trimming should be done after your shower so they are soft, but avoid cutting them too short as they are designed to protect the soft tissue under them.
• Hand washing
Hand washing using soap and water should be done every time you touch a surface that is not part of your home environment. Every time you return home and when you have touched other people, animals or objects such as money, keyboards handles and taps.
Your hands are your most used areas of contact and can transfer germs straight into your mouth, the eye’s or nose, so you need to be aware that they need to be looked after and kept clean.
Whenever you venture out you should take a proper hand sanitiser and if possible sanitised wipes so you can keep your hands sanitised at all times
• Eating a healthy diet
Your diet should contain all the macro and micronutrients needed such as vitamins and mineral enzymes and proteins so your immune system is strong. Avoid where possible processed and denatured foods. Organic foods, fresh fruits and vegetables free range eggs, poultry, dairy seafood’s and meat should be taken in amounts that help balance your energy needs with your overall intake
• Sun
Sensible sun exposure allows your body to produce vitamin D and K as well as an array of enzymes and hormones that are necessary for a healthy life.

Two of the most important things you can use to avoid spreading viruses and germs are a good high quality hand sanitiser and a proper face mask for when you’re near infectious people or are unable to maintain a safe social distance
