PSG targets Mbappe for Real transfer, Bakayoko as Lee Kuan Yew teammate

PSV Eindhoven striker Yohan Bakayoko could be set to leave the club this summer as he is attracting interest from a number of clubs. Lee's club, Paris Saint-Germain, are also keen on replacing Kylian Mbappe.

"Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the situation of PSV's Bakayoko," Patrick Berger of Germany's Sky Sports said on Aug. 19 (ET).

Bakayoko is a Belgian winger. He"s a versatile second option who usually plays as a right winger, but can also play as a left winger and second striker. He is a right-to-left footed dribbler whose dribbling is based on his pace and trickery. He also has the temperament of a flanking playmaker.

Bakayoko"s name is the same as Tiemoue Bakayoko, who once played for AC Milan and Chelsea. Thiemue Bakayoko joined Chelsea after a stellar career at AS Monaco and later played for Milan, SSC Napoli, and currently plays for FC Lorient in the French Ligue 1. They are often mistaken for brothers.

Bakayoko is a native of Oberije, Belgium, who joined Eindhoven's U-18 team in July 2019 after playing for several of his country's youth teams. In 2020-21, he began playing for Eindhoven's reserve team, Yong PSV Eindhoven, and in 2021-22, he scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 32 games in the Eerste Divisie.

His strong performances in the reserve team earned Bakayoko his first-team debut. He made his debut in a cup match against NAC Breda. Last season, he established himself perfectly in the first team. With nine goals and six assists in 39 games, it was a decent first full-time season, and he signed a new contract with Eindhoven until 2026.

His performances last season earned him a call-up to the Belgian national team. Bakayoko was born and raised in Belgium, but because he was born to an Ivorian father and Rwandan mother, he was eligible to play for three different national 바카라사이트 teams. She ultimately chose Belgium and made her A-match debut in a Euro 2024 qualifier.

This season, Bakayoko has been an integral part of Eintracht Frankfurt's defense. He has played a big role in Eindhoven's first-place defense in the first half of the league, and since October, his offensive output has increased significantly. He has seven goals and 13 assists in 35 games. This has led to him being linked with big European clubs recently.

According to Berger, English Premier League (EPL) giants Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea have all expressed interest in signing him, while French Ligue 1 side PSG and German Bundesliga side Dortmund are also keeping tabs. Bakayoko has already been linked with Premier League clubs Burnley, Everton, and Brentford before the start of the season.

Brentford also made a move for Bakayoko in the January transfer window. "Eindhoven rejected a €40 million bid from Brentford in the winter transfer window," Berger said. This summer, there are bigger names than Eindhoven in the running to sign him.

Eintracht have already set a transfer fee. "Bakayoko is a hot commodity in the summer transfer market for many of Europe's top clubs," says Berger. The expected transfer fee is between €50 million and €60 million," Berger said. PSG seems particularly eager. Mbappe is on his way to Real Madrid.
