Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Mail Client Configuration (Outlook, MacOS, Etc.)
When you access an verizon net email settings account through a desktop email application such as Outlook, MacOS Mail App, Eudora. Etc., the email application will require specific information about your email account.

Email Settings
Username (your email address):
Password: Use the email account’s password.

Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com
IMAP Port: 143
POP3 Port: 110

Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Port: 26 (if port 26 does not work with your ISP, you can use 25, 465, or 587)
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Accessing Email from your Domains with your ISP Verizon
If you have POP3 email accounts with your own domain, with some ISP’s you retrieve your email using your domain’s incoming mail server, and you send email using your ISPs outgoing mail server.

incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
outgoing mail server: outgoing.verizon.net
(this is smtp.comcast.net if your ISP is Comcast)

Please call Verizon to verify SMTP settings if you are having any connection problems.

Outlook Setup
Open Outlook
On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts
Click View or change existing e-mail accounts
Select your email account
Click Change
Click More Settings
Click the Advanced tab
View the Outgoing mail (SMTP) Port and change it to 587 and save.
Authenticate your Verizon Account Name and Password
Go to Tools – Accounts
Click on the “Mail” tab
Click on your account then on the “Properties” button
Click on the “Server” tab
At the bottom, check the “My Server Requires Authentication” box
Click the “Settings” button
Click the “Log On Using” radio button
Enter your VERIZON ACCOUNT NAME AND PASSWORD here
