I have not spent a dime on 2k(except to purchase it) and that I can state the 2k mycareer has been years before whatever madden has. The playground can also be among the funnest modes I've played far, particularly playing friends. Myteam sucks but I don't mess with and ultimate team manners. MyLeague and MyGm are also far better than franchise and even though I enjoy soccer way better compared to basketball, I play with just 2k pretty much due to the caliber of their game.
