Madden left Sunday's game late, after playing 11 snaps, with a calf nhl18 coins for sale

On Monday, head coach Pete Carroll didn't have uplifting news on the situation, saying Madden's injury was serious but gave no further details on the subject except to say Madden would not suit up in week ten. Now, it appears he may not suit up for the rest of the season.

The team announced they've moved Madden to Injured Reserve on Tuesday and have likely ended the sophomore player's season. Although, the Seahawks do have the option to return a player from Injured Reserve that they've not utilized yet; it's hard to see them using that resource on Madden. Besides, the severity of Madden's calf issue remains unknown as of now.

In Madden's place, the Seahawks have chosen not to sign a new fullback -- like adding Marcel Reece who's still available and played for Seattle to end 2016 -- for the time being. Instead, they've called up linebacker Josh Forrest from their practice squad.

A sixth-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams out of Kentucky, Forrest has nine total tackles and a pass defensed in 10 regular season games all coming last season with the Rams. The move may spell danger for special team's ace, linebacker D.J. Alexnader, who's dealing with an ankle injury coming out of Sunday's 17-14 loss.

Carroll was not able to give an update Monday on Alexander's chances of playing this week, except to leave the door ajar unlike with Madden.

Madden's season ends with no rushing attempts but two catches for 65 yards including a long bomb for 66 yards two weeks ago against the Houston Texans. And yes, his stat line means his only other catch went for -1 yards.

It'll be interesting to see if the Seahawks add a fullback when they have more time to weight their options after Thursday Night Football or if they move toward an H-back option like they did some in 2016 with tight ends Luke Willson and Brandon Williams or simply elect to not have a fullback at all.
